~~ANNOUNCING~~ The birth of Jayce & Jarett Owen Parents: Greg and Carolyn Owen Grandparents: Dick and Neona Owen Grandparents:
Vital Statistics: Born: February 26, 2002 Jayce was first by a few seconds. They were born C-Section.
Jayce Richard Owern Weight: 6 pounds 12 ounces Length: Head: Dark hair and eyes
Jarett Russel Owen Weight: 6 pounds 8 ounces Length: Head: Dark hair and eyes.
The boys were born 6 weeks premature. They have been in Sacred Heart in Eugene since birth. They have infant apnea - they "forget" to breathe and have to be kept on a monitor. Their lungs weren't fully developed at birth so they had to be on oxygen. They are still too weak to eat on their own and have feeding tubes - but, they do get to spend time practicing feeding several times a day to build up their strength.
